OasisWManual 한국어
Section 1. Getting started Reference Pending 2

Browser and device requirements

OasisW runs in the browser. There is nothing to install, but you need an up-to-date browser that can render 3D graphics. This page lists the requirements and what to do when they aren't met.

What you need

ItemRequirement
DeviceA computer (desktop or laptop). You can't make games on a phone or tablet
BrowserThe latest version of Chrome, Edge, or Opera. See Supported browsers below
GraphicsThe browser must support WebGPU or WebGL 2.0
AccountA Google, Kakao, or NAVER account
ConnectionAn internet connection. Your edits and the AI's work are saved to the server immediately, so you need to stay connected while you work

This manual was tested in the latest Chrome (155) on macOS. This browser supported both WebGPU and WebGL 2.0.

Supported browsers

The editor opens in the browsers below. It doesn't open in Safari, Firefox, or Whale. Safari is the default browser on a Mac, so on a Mac install Chrome, Edge, or Opera separately and use that. For any browser not on the list, use one of these three as well.

If your browser isn't supported

The editor doesn't open in unsupported browsers. On older browsers or computers, the screen may not display correctly. If the editor or the game doesn't display correctly, try the following in order.

  1. Update your current browser to the latest version.
  2. If you use Safari, Firefox, or Whale, install the latest Chrome, Edge, or Opera and open oasisw.ai in that browser.
  3. Open get.webgl.org. If you see a slowly spinning cube, this browser can render 3D graphics. If you don't see the cube, or see only a black screen, use another supported browser.
  4. In environments where graphics acceleration may be turned off, such as a work PC, check that hardware acceleration is turned on in your browser settings. Pending Turn off hardware acceleration and confirm the symptom reproduces

Phones and tablets

The editor you use to make games works only on a computer. You can't make games on a phone or tablet. Published games are different: a public URL opens on any device, including iPhone and iPad. Published games are built to render with WebGL 2.0 and were configured to accept keyboard, mouse, and touch input (checked in the published build's settings file).

However, a game controlled with the keyboard, for example with the arrow keys, displays on a touch-only phone or tablet but can't be controlled. With a keyboard connected to an iPad, the game was playable. If the game should be playable on phones, include touch controls in your prompt.
