Invite team members and set permissions

You can add other people to a project so they can view or edit it with you. This page explains where the team screen is, how it is laid out, and the types of permissions.

Open the team screen

  1. Open the project window by clicking Publish / Download in the left toolbar or main in the top bar.
  2. Click Team in the list on the left of the window. The TEAM screen opens.
WhereWhat's there
TopUsername or email address input, Invite button, member count (for example, 1 member)
Table belowMEMBER (name and subtitle), ACCESS (permission), STATUS (status), and gear and trash icons at the far right

The person who created the project appears in the table as Project owner, with permission OWNER and status ACTIVE. Clicking the gear on your own row opens the account page (oasisw.ai/account) in a new tab.

Permission types

Shown on screenWhat they can do
OwnerThe person who created the project. Everything
AdminEdit; invite members, change their permissions, and remove them; change the project name and description
Read & WriteEdit scenes, assets, and scripts; send AI prompts
Read OnlyView only. Can't edit, and the AI panel input shows 읽기 전용 권한입니다. (You have read-only access.)

Pending Test where each permission is blocked on the actual screen — needs 2 accounts. The table above is based on the editor code (share/projectAccess.ts, teamRows.ts)

Invite someone

  1. Enter the person's username or email address in the input.
  2. Click Invite.

Based on the editor code, invitations work as follows. Pending Confirm after testing an invitation with 2 accounts

  • No invitation email is sent.
  • If the person already has an OasisW account, they become a member immediately and appear in the table.
  • If the email isn't registered yet, it stays in the table as Invited user with status Pending, and becomes a member when that person signs in with that email.
  • Newly added people start with Read Only. To let them edit, click the permission on their row and change it to Read & Write or Admin.

Because no invitation email is sent, let the person know yourself after inviting them.

Remove a member

Click the trash icon at the right of the member's row. You can't remove yourself or the project owner. If the removed person had the project open, their screen reloads and they are taken out of the project (based on the code). Pending Test

How this relates to visibility

The Visibility you choose when creating a project is separate from team permissions. A published game's URL could be opened by anyone who knew it, even non-members (Publish your game).
